1. Parties and relationship

This Helper Services Agreement ("Agreement") is between ShoulderCrew ("ShoulderCrew", "we") and the individual or business that registers as a Helper on the ShoulderCrew platform ("Helper", "you"). ShoulderCrew operates a platform that connects drivers who need roadside help with independent Helpers. ShoulderCrew does not itself provide roadside services.

This Agreement works together with the Helper Policies and the Terms of Service. If this Agreement and the Helper Policies conflict on insurance, the Helper Policies control.

2. Independent contractor

3. Eligibility and verification

4. Job acceptance and conduct

5. Pay and fees

The fees below match the Helper Policies exactly. If they ever differ, the Helper Policies control.

Worked example: a $55.00 flat tire. Commission 20% = $11.00, so the payout is $44.00. The $2.00 fee is under the 10% cap ($4.40), so you receive $42.00, plus 100% of any tip. With a $7.00 tip you receive $49.00.

ShoulderCrew deducts only amounts stated in this Agreement or the Helper Policies, or that you authorize in writing, and itemizes each one. Payouts are made through our payment processor; you must complete its identity and bank setup. Payouts may be held while a dispute is reviewed.

6. Insurance

You must carry the insurance set out in the Helper Policies: your own automobile liability insurance with a business-use endorsement (at least 50/100/30 limits), plus general liability of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate for Tier 2 Jobs. ShoulderCrew's fees do not make you an insured under any ShoulderCrew policy. The Helper Policies also set the notice, cure periods and reinstatement steps if coverage lapses.

7. Responsibility and indemnity

8. Term and termination
